Rio de Janeiro

New semester started! How was your summer? This summer was special for me because I could see my friends again and meet new people. I went to Malaysia, Karuizawa, Mie-prefecture and so on. I went to Malaysia to visit my friends who were exchange students of last summer. Thay took me to many famous place in Malaysia and let me stay at their house. I made new friends and tried foods which I haven't seen. One of the surprising thing is blue rice. I saw blue rice when I went to market. thay are colored, but taste is same as white one. It's interestting. I could experience a lot of things thanks to them. My heart was full of gratitude. It was really great trip and precious time for me.

I also went trip to Karuizawa with new exchange students. I like this semester because there are exchange students at my university :) Thay are from America, Malaysia and Canada. the conversation with students form Minnesota and Malaysia became lively because I've been to MN and Malaysia. I should go to Canada too :p I had so much fun with them. After we went back Tokyo, I took them to Asakusa and Shibuya. I have no idea which place is interesting for them.

One more thing, Rio de Janeiro! Rio de Janeiro will be host to Olympics in 2016. I saw the news today. Rio has a little problem. there is slum area, and 1/6 people of the population live in slum area. It's a crime-prone district. I hope the disparity between rich and poor is abolished, and hope the energetic and exciting Olympics is held in 2016.

Mie prefecture

Long time no see!
I went to Mie prefecture to visit my friends in this weekend.
We went to "Ise-shrine" and "Husband and wife rock". Husband and wife rock is a spot famous for sunrise. we went to there in the evening, so we ware able to see sunset. It was really beautiful.

If you haven't been there, you should go. I really had a good time.
I'm going to Malaysia next weekend. I'm so excited!! I'll write soon.
I'm still thinking about my essay...I can't decide what I write yet :( I hope I can find something special and valuable during summer vacation. I'm sure this summer will be fun and important for me.

Temporary staff acts as a substitute for friend

June is a bridal season. I found an interesting article on Asahi News. The article is about temporary staff service. According to the article, the bride and bridegroom who don't have many friends request temporary staff to appear at a wedding ceremony as a fake friends and colleague. A staff who is asked by the bridal pair acts the part of their friend. The staff makes a speech as one of their friends, and sing a song. Nobody knows he is a staff from temporary staff service even their parents. The staff acts a role of friend perfectly. Beforehand the bride or bridegroom hand a note of speech over to a staff. Staffs can get about ten thousand yen~twenty thousand yen for each wedding ceremony. When I read this article, I thought it's really emptiness and lonesomeness. Why they don't have friends to invite to a wedding ceremony??I can't believe it.

By the way, Do you know a person "Remi Gallard"?

He is a famous mischievous man in France. I saw a TV program of him. He is so funny and he does funny and stupid things. You can watch him on the youtube. this is URL↓. I want you to watch both because it's funny though it's trifle.

However, thaks to these video, he became famous, and he got a sponsor of NIKE. He is appearing on TV now.

20th

On May 15th, I turned 20 years old!!
So, last weekend, I had a great time.
My friends of high school gave my surprising birthday for me. They suddenly appeared and pulled crackers in the center of Ikebukuro! We were in the public eye. We were watched by police, but I was really glad. They gave me a cake and message cards.
At home, my family also celebrated my 20th birthday. my mother and grandmother cooked delicious dinner, my father gave me a bouquet of sunflower, and my younger brother gave me a propelling pencil ...haha. he is nice. We took pictures and had a good time :)
On sunday, I met dance club members of high school. we went to Karaoke, but we didn't sing any song. We just talked all the time in Karaoke. One of my friends baked cookies for me. At night, I met friends of junior high school. We went eat out.
For this three days was very busy and enjoyable. I appreciate them.I also received E-mail of BD wishes from my friends. Thank you for your BD wishes!

Well, I have TOEIC test at the end of month. I would have to study for it in this weekend in contrast to last weekend :( anyway, I'll do my best.

My GW

How are you spending GW? I'm really enjoying and doing a lot of things in GW.
On May 2nd, I met a friend who was exchange student of Bunkyo. She is from Canada. She came to Japan again for study abroad in Kyoto Industry university, and she came to Tokyo in GW. So, I could meet her again. In addition, she took her friends to Tokyo, so I could make new friends of various country :) They are from California, North Carolina, Colombia, Indiana, Norway and so on. First, we went to Korakuen and rode a roller coaster"Thunder Dolphin". It was very exciting. Next, we went to Akihabara because they were interested in. I don't know well about Akihabara...so we were just sightseeing. they knew the word"Otaku". I think there were many odd people in there. I mean it's kind of interesting. I was glad because they had been enjoying it. At the evening, we moved to Shibuya, and went to shabu shabu. Some of seniors of Bunkyo university joined for us, so I went to shabu shabu by 15people. It was pretty fun. I really had a good time with them. Today was active day.

On May 4th, I went to Akigase park in Saitama prefecture to have a barbecue with my friends and family. It was sunny day. It was nice weather to have a BBQ. We cooked deep-fried delicacies on bamboo skewers, Takoyaki, and grilled meat and ate. I was full and happy :) I had a great day.

On May5th, I took international students who met on May2nd to Odaiba. BUT there were bunch of people in there...I thought that I had chosen a wrong place :( I completely forgot that today is Golden Week! We took a walk around there and took pictures. We had a fun, but today is the last day of Tokyo for them. They had gone back to Kyoto tonight. I'll miss them. However, I'm going to go to Kinki district in this summer. So I think we can meet again. I hope that we can meet in this summer. They are very nice people. I like them. Meeting them became a very good experience for me.

I had a wonderful time in thesedays :D I really enjoyed a break.
On the other hand, Of course I did home work and will prepare for class tomorrow.
Have a nice last day of GW and see you soon ;)

A news

I found a news on yahoo news website.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ml_saudi_child_marriage;_ylt=AnYKVCUCUi23IGAgx4XlsJUDW7oF I was really surprised at this news's title at first. I didn't know that children can get married in Saudi Arabia. In this case, 8years-old girl divorced with 50 years-old man!?!? Her father let his daughter get married for MONEY. I can't believe it.
Well, GW started♪ though I don't have special plans yet :( Recently, I watch foreign dramas"Ghost Whisperer" in English subtitles. I watched dramas and movies with Japanese subtitles before, but I changed from Japanese subtitles to English subtitles these days because I can study reading English from these. I enjoy watching these.
Have a lovely GW ;)
